South Korea and Saudi Arabia discussed defense and arms cooperation on Sunday.

South Korea's Ministry of Defense said on Monday that Minister of National Defense Ahn Gyu-back met with Saudi Arabia's Minister of the National Guard, Abdullah bin Bandar Al Saud, in Riyadh on Sunday.

In the meeting, Ahn praised the continued and growing cooperation between the two nations in the defense and arms sectors, characterizing South Korea as a key economic partner for "Saudi Vision 2030".

Abdullah expressed hope that the two nations will further develop bilateral ties following the visit.
