Head coach Hong Myung-bo has announced that forward Hwang Hee-chan and midfielder Hwang In-beom will return to South Korea's men's national football team for the squad's October friendlies.

Hong announced Monday that the two players, who were absent in September, would join Lee Kang-in, Kim Min-jae and captain Son Heung-min on the 26-person roster for upcoming matches against Brazil and Paraguay.

Hwang Hee-chan returns for the first time in four months after struggling with injuries and loss of form. Hwang In-beom was recovering from a calf injury during the same period.

Midfielder Lee Jae-sung, who was sidelined by a thigh injury during last month’s friendly against the U.S., is also back.

Korea will host Brazil and Paraguay on October 10 and 14 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 10 and 14, respectively, as part of its preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
