The fourth launch of South Korea's first homegrown space rocket, Nuri, has been scheduled for November 27.

According to the Korea AeroSpace Administration on Tuesday, the launch management committee has designated a launch window between 12:54 a.m. and 1:14 a.m. on that day.

This marks the first nighttime launch, a decision made in consideration of the orbit trajectory of the main satellite, the next-generation medium-sized satellite three, with an altitude of 600 kilometers.

The exact launch time will be finalized by the committee on November 26, depending on Nuri’s final assembly, satellite schedule and conditions at the Naro Space Center in Goheung, South Jeolla Province.

A backup launch window between November 28 and December 4 has also been scheduled in case of delays due to unfavorable weather conditions.
