Rain will begin late Thursday in South Jeolla Province and Jeju, one day before the Chuseok holiday begins.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) says precipitation will spread throughout the southern region, as well as the central Chungcheong region and eastern Gangwon Province on Friday.

Rain will likely continue through Saturday in some areas.

From Sunday afternoon until Monday, the day of Chuseok, precipitation will be concentrated in the central region.

Thursday's temperatures will dip as low as 14 and 20 degrees Celsius before daytime highs rise between 24 and 27 degrees.
