The autumn leaves on Mount Seorak in Gangwon Province will be at their most vibrant on October 25.

The Korea Forest Service(KFS) made the projection in its autumn foliage forecast map released on Wednesday.

The agency predicted that Mount Sokri's foliage will reach its peak on October 27, Mount Naejang's on November 6 and Mount Gaya's on November 11.

The KFS said that peak autumn colors will occur between four and five-point-two days later than the average recorded during the past decade due to climate change.

The KFS publishes its autumn foliage forecast annually, based on seasonal data observed at 112 locations across the country.
