A Seoul court is allowing a broadcast of the second hearing in the trial of former Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is accused of aiding and abetting former President Yoon Suk Yeol's December 3 martial law declaration.

The Seoul Central District Court said Friday that it had granted the prosecution's request, submitted on October 2, to open Monday's hearing to recording and broadcast.

Courtroom cameras will record the full proceedings, and the court plans to release the footage after removing audio and anonymizing testimony.

The court also permitted the broadcast of Han's first hearing, which took place on September 30.

The upcoming hearing will center on CCTV footage from the presidential office on the night of the martial law declaration. Agriculture Minister Song Mi-ryung and former Unification Minister Kim Yung-ho will also take the stand.
