The International Monetary Fund(IMF) has slightly raised its forecast for South Korea’s economic growth this year to zero-point-nine percent.

In its October World Economic Outlook released on Tuesday, the IMF raised the forecast by one-tenth of a percentage point from its July projection of zero-point-eight percent.

The organization did not specify the reasons for the upward revision.

The IMF also forecast South Korea’s growth rate for next year at one-point-eight percent, unchanged from the previous projection.

The global growth forecast was also raised to three-point-two percent, up from three percent in July.
