The government said that online administrative services disrupted by last month’s fire at a state-run data center have entered a “gradual recovery phase,” with more than half now restored.

Interior Minister Yun Ho-jung said Monday that 373 of the 709 services affected by the blaze at the National Information Resources Service had been restored as of 6 a.m., bringing the overall recovery rate to 52-point-six percent.

Roughly 77-point-five percent and 64-point-seven percent of the government’s highest-priority grade one and grade two systems, respectively, have been restored.

Presiding over a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, Yun said the newly restored services include a health ministry system used to manage operation schedules and blood supplies for organ transplant patients.

He added that an online system for booking cremation services is scheduled to be restored on Tuesday.
