A shaman who says he was tasked with delivering a necklace from the Unification Church to former first lady Kim Keon-hee has turned the item over to prosecutors.

A special counsel team investigating the incident said that it had taken the Graff product, worth 60 million won, or around 42-thousand U.S. dollars, into evidence following a voluntary submission from Shaman Geon Jin, whose real name is Jeon Seong-bae.

It also took possession of a pair of Chanel shoes and three Chanel bags from Jeon's lawyers.

Prosecutors said the serial numbers and other qualities of the items matched the information gathered in the investigation.

Jeon previously claimed that he had misplaced the necklace after receiving it from Yun Young-ho, the Church's former second-in-command.

He later recanted that statement at trial, admitting that he had delivered the necklace and other items to Kim and received them back in early 2024.
