Clear skies and brisk air continue across the country, with morning temperatures still hovering below seasonal averages.

According to the Korea Meteorological Association, a brief cold spell will persist through early Wednesday before daytime highs rebound to near-normal levels.

Frost or ice may form in inland areas, and patches of fog could reduce visibility to under one kilometer in some regions.

The temperature gap between day and night will remain wide, around 15 degrees Celsius.

Morning lows will range from zero to nine degrees, including five degrees in Seoul and one degree in Chuncheon, and daytime highs will rise to 15–20 degrees, including a maximum of 18 degrees in Seoul and Daegu and 19 degrees in Gwangju.

Warmer, more stable conditions are expected toward the end of the week, and seas will remain relatively calm with waves between zero-point-five and two meters across most waters.
