Ministers of foreign affairs and trade from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) member economies will gather for two days ahead of the Economic Leaders' Meeting.

According to South Korea’s foreign ministry, the APEC Ministerial Meeting will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Gyeongju.

Ministers from the 21 member states are scheduled to attend a dinner banquet on Wednesday evening, followed by a plenary session on Thursday.

Ahead of the ministerial meeting, senior officials from APEC member states wrapped up their Concluding Senior Officials’ Meeting on Monday.

Building on those discussions, the ministers will address key agenda items and finalize preparations for the two-day APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, which opens on Friday.

Thursday’s plenary session will consist of two segments, the first chaired by Foreign Minister Cho Hyun, and the second led by Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo.
