Simon Kahn, chief marketing officer of Google's Asia-Pacific headquarters, called for accelerating the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and a future that benefits all.

Kahn made the remarks on Thursday at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) CEO Summit in Gyeongju.

The executive said ambitious AI innovations must be pursued boldly and that AI is crossing boundaries to deliver scientific breakthroughs that address humanity's challenges.

Kahn then added that responsibility follows innovation, stressing that AI must bring profit to all people. 

He said no single corporation or economy can realize AI's potential alone, underscoring that progress depends on cooperation.
