Industrial output rebounded in September while consumption declined for a second consecutive month.

According to the Ministry of Data and Statistics' Monthly Industrial Statistics report, industrial production increased one percent from the previous month to reach 115-point-five in September.

The increase was driven by an expansion of eleven-point-four percent in the construction industry.

Retail sales, a key indicator of consumption, fell zero-point-one percent in September from the previous month, marking the second straight monthly decline.

Facility investment, however, jumped 12-point-seven percent, driven by increased spending on semiconductor manufacturing equipment and related machinery.
