The government has lowered its crisis alert level for its administrative information systems from "serious" to "alert" as recovery nears completion.

Interior Minister Yun Ho-jung announced Thursday at the government complex in Sejong City that all grade one and grade two public safety systems have been restored following a September data center fire that caused a mass outage.

Yun said that with recovery nearing completion, the government is lowering the crisis alert by one notch.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, 676, or 95-point-three percent, of 709 online government services had been restored as of 6 a.m. Thursday.

The minister added that the government plans to complete its restoration at the National Information Resources Service by November 20 and to relocate some systems to Daegu by the end of the year.
