President Lee Jae Myung met with top business leaders on Sunday, two days after the release of a joint fact sheet on trade and security agreements with the United States.

Meeting at the presidential office, Lee emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting corporate activities and urged companies to expand domestic investment.

He thanked business leaders for coordinating with the government during U.S. tariff negotiations and said such collaboration between government and industry was rare.

Lee highlighted that businesses are central to economic activity, reiterated the government's full support for corporate operations and vowed to remove regulatory barriers.

He also encouraged firms to ensure that expanding in the U.S. would not come at the expense of domestic investment.

The president stressed that labor and business cannot exist separately and called for continued cooperation and coexistence.
