S. Korean Organization to Provide Medical Assistance to Eritrea

A South Korean non-governmental organization will provide medical assistance to the poverty-stricken African country of Eritrea.

The Korea International Foundation for Health and Development said on Monday that it plans to supply large amounts of medical equipment and medicines to help modernize hospitals in the Eritrean capital of Asmara.

The Foundation was established in March this year to provide health and medical assistance to developing countries and North Korea.
