First Vice Foreign Minister Park Yoon‑joo will meet U.S. officials to discuss implementing the joint fact sheet the two nations released last month.

Park announced the plan on Sunday upon arriving at Dulles International Airport near Washington, to discuss follow‑up measures to the trade and security agreements reached between the two nations.

The vice minister said his trip was aimed at consulting with the United States on issues outlined in the fact sheet and exploring ways to make progress.

Park said the possibility of a joint body responsible for realizing the commitments would be on the table during discussions.

Park is scheduled to meet U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on Monday, which will mark the first high‑level bilateral consultation since the South Korea–U.S. summit in Gyeongju on October 29.
