Clear skies are forecast late Friday, with scattered clouds moving in on Saturday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA), temperatures will remain above freezing in many parts of the country over the weekend, following heavy snowfall in the central region and northern inland areas of North Jeolla and North Gyeongsang provinces late Thursday and early Friday.

Saturday morning lows will range from minus eight to one degrees Celsius, four to nine degrees higher than Friday's lows.

Daytime highs between four and 14 degrees are expected, four to six degrees higher than those seen on Friday.

Mercury is likely to hover within the same range on Sunday, with Seoul projected to hit a high of 12 degrees.
