The number of Coupang users dropped by more than two million in five days following a massive data breach that affected more than 30 million people.

The IGA Works Mobile Index released Tuesday showed 15-point-95 million daily active Coupang users as of Saturday, down two-point-04 million from its record high of 17-point-99 million on December 1.

Daily users of the mobile app spiked after news of the data breach began to spread on November 29, primarily reflecting users verifying their accounts and passcodes or seeking to cancel subscriptions.

Meanwhile, the use of other platforms, such as Gmarket, returned to average levels after temporarily rising following the Coupang data breach.

Gmarket's daily active users jumped from one-point-37 million to one-point-71 million between November 29 and December 3, and had fallen to one-point-41 million as of Saturday.
