Dense fog is expected across inland areas from late Thursday night into Friday morning, with visibility dropping below one kilometer in many places.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, roads near rivers and lakes may see especially thick fog, and in colder areas moisture could freeze, creating icy patches or black ice.

After the fog clears, skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy nationwide through the day.

Morning temperatures on Friday will range from minus six to six degrees Celsius, including around zero degrees Celsius in Seoul, slightly higher than Thursday.

Daytime highs will reach between five and 16 degrees Celsius, with Seoul climbing to around eleven degrees Celsius.

Rain is forecast to develop along the southern coast of the Gyeongsang region in the afternoon, before spreading to most parts of the country on Saturday.
