The government and the ruling Democratic Party(DP) are reportedly in the final stages of discussions on new housing supply measures.

DP spokesperson Park Soo‑hyun briefed reporters Sunday at the National Assembly after a high‑level policy consultation meeting between the government and the ruling bloc.

Park said the timing of the announcement could slip to next month, noting that the land minister had already raised that possibility during a recent parliamentary committee session.

He said the delay stems from ongoing consultations with local government heads, adding that while significant progress has been made, several issues still need to be settled.

Park said the government will determine the final announcement date after weighing various factors.
