Eight out of ten South Koreans believe a second inter-Korean summit should take place.

A telephone survey on Friday of 1,000 citizens over 20 years of age showed 84.6 percent of respondents lending support for another round of talks between the leaders of the two Koreas.

As to the inquiry on the most important task for improving South-North relations, the No.1 reply was boosting economic cooperation followed by building political trust and easing military tensions.

The survey was conducted by Hankook Research and commissioned by the Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification.
