South Korean Netflix series “Squid Game” has won the Best Foreign Language Series award for its third season at the 31st Critics Choice Awards.

The Critics Choice Association announced Sunday that the global hit claimed the honor in the TV category, beating nominees including “Acapulco” and “Last Samurai Standing.”

It marks the third time the series has earned the award, which is presented by a group of about 600 film and television critics across North America.

“Squid Game” previously won in 2022 for its first season and again in 2025 for its second season.

Lee Jung‑jae, one of the show’s lead actors, also won Best Actor at the 2022 ceremony.
