Tuesday will see cloudy skies from the afternoon in most parts of the nation with morning temperatures set to be lower than Monday's.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Monday, Tuesday will begin with sunny skies before clouds are spotted from the afternoon. 

From late hours Tuesday, rain or snow is expected for the northern inland areas and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province and Jeju Island. 

Morning lows will stand between minus 12 degrees and minus one degree Celsius, or one to five degrees lower than Monday. 

Afternoon highs will range from one to nine degrees, or one to three degrees warmer than Monday.
