The Korea Highway Corporation said Monday that some 310 thousand cars had passed the Seoul tollgate area on Saturday, 330 thousand on Sunday and 300 thousand on Monday.
Meanwhile, major cemetery grounds and amusement parks in the Gyeonggi Province saw swarms of holiday visitors Monday.
Reportedly, some 20 thousand people visited the Yongmiri cemetery in Paju city as of two p.m.
Some 30 thousand people visited Everland amusement park, a popular weekend destination in Yongin city, while four thousand visited the Yongin Folk Village to take pat in traditional festivities.
