Friday to Continue to See Freezing Morning

Friday will continue to see freezing temperatures in the morning but the mercury is set to climb later in the afternoon. 

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Thursday, morning lows will stand between minus eleven and minus two degrees Celsius on Friday. 

Afternoon highs will range between three to ten degrees Celsius, five to seven degrees warmer than Thursday. 

Snow or rain is forecast to fall in Gangwon Province and the northeastern parts of Gyeonggi Province from Friday evening before spreading to the central and southern regions as well as Jeju Island on Saturday. 

A heavy snowfall advisory is likely for the eastern parts of Gyeonggi Province and North Jeolla Province with one to three centimeters of snow expected to fall per hour there.
