The nation will continue to see freezing weather on Friday with wind chill set to plunge further. 

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Thursday, morning lows will stand between minus 19 and minus two degrees Celsius on Friday. That's similar or slightly higher than Thursday's. 

Afternoon highs will range between minus four and seven degrees, or three to five degrees warmer than Thursday's. 

Snow is expected to fall from Thursday evening in the central region, the Jeolla provinces and Jeju Island. 

Freezing weather will continue through the weekend.
