“KPop Demon Hunters,” the Netflix animated film directed by Korean Canadian filmmaker Maggie Kang, has received two Oscar nods.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Thursday that the film had been nominated for best animated feature at the 98th Academy Awards, along with four other contenders—“Zootopia 2,” “Arco,” “Elio” and “Little Amélie or the Character of Rain.”

“Golden” also earned a nomination for best original song.

Oscar buzz has grown after the film nabbed best animated motion picture and best original song at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

Meanwhile, director Park Chan-wook’s black comedy “No Other Choice,” which had made the preliminary shortlist of 15 films for Best International Feature, failed to snag a nomination.

The awards ceremony will take place on March 15.
