‘APT.,’ ‘Golden’ Nominated for BRIT Awards

“APT.,” the megahit song by Rosé of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK and American musician Bruno Mars, and “Golden” from the animated Netflix hit film “KPop Demon Hunters” have been nominated for the BRIT awards.

“APT.” and “Golden”  were nominated for international song of the year, according to the list of nominees for the 46th BRIT Awards released on Friday. 

The fictional girl group Huntr/x, comprising Korean American artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, who performed “Golden,” was nominated for international group of the year. 

BTS was nominated for a BRIT award in the international group of the year category in 2021 and 2022, and BLACKPINK was nominated in 2023, but neither group won. 

In 2024, South Korean DJ Peggy Gou was nominated for international song of the year but did not win.

This year’s BRIT Awards will be held February 28.
