The South Korean government will run Korea House in Milan from February 5 to 22 to promote Korean culture during the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Sport & Olympic Committeevannounced on Tuesday that they will utilize the Korea House as a hub for K-culture and sports.

Korea House will be set up inside Villa Necchi Campiglio, a historic mansion and architectural landmark in downtown Milan built in the 1930s.

The venue will be used for high-level gatherings and dinner banquets for sports diplomacy as well as events promoting K-culture and K-tourism. The underground space will be used as a rest area for South Korean athletes.

A ceremony to mark the opening of Korea House will be held on February 5 and attended by Culture Minister Chae Hwi-young and Korean Sport & Olympic Committee President Ryu Seung-min.
