An audiotaped message by a man alleged to be Osama bin Laden's top lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri was broadcast Friday on the Arabic-language TV network Al-Jazeera.
In the message, the No.2 figure of the terrorist group al Qaeda pressed the Muslim world to "carry on the fight" against countries such as the U.S., Britain and South Korea.
Regarding the authenticity of the tape, the latest report confirms the CIA has verified the speaker on the tape to be the voice of al-Zawahiri.
Issuing a call for indiscriminate action across the globe, bin Laden's righthand man said the conflict between Palestinians and Israel remains the focus of Muslim resistance. He said "defending Palestine is a duty for all Muslims. You should never give up Palestine even if the whole world lets it down."
The message focused particularly on countries supporting the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq and pointed out their interests were everywhere.
The speaker voiced "Don't wait for the American, British, French, South Korean, Hungarian and Polish forces to enter Egypt, the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen and Algeria to start the resistance."
The U.S. has offered 25 million dollars on capturing al Qaeda's No.2 man.
