A ceremony marking the 4,336 anniversary of Korea's National Foundation Day was held at the Sejong Center in northern Seoul, attended by some 3,000 audience including senior politicians, foreign diplomats and citizens. In a bid to illuminate the message of 'social solidarity,' 110 overseas Korean students and 530 local citizens who applied for attendance via the Internet were also invited. Unlike other commemorations of national holidays, traditional Korean music was played throughout the ceremony this time.
