Snow or rain is expected for most parts of the nation through Tuesday night. 

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, up to five centimeters of snow will fall in Gangwon Province, northeastern parts of North Jeolla Province, North Gyeongsang Province and the western inland areas of South Gyeongsang Province. 

Heavy snow advisories have been issued for areas in North Jeolla and the Gyeongsang provinces expected to be impacted by the weather.

Thick fog may limit visibility to around 200 meters overnight in central inland regions, the Jeolla region and the northern inland areas of North Gyeongsang Province. 

Morning lows on Wednesday are expected to range from between minus six and seven degrees Celsius, with the mercury in Seoul at minus one degree.

Afternoon highs will range from nine to 16 degrees, representing a warmup of seven to 12 degrees compared to Tuesday's readings. Seoul will peak at around 15 degrees.
