Korea Electronics Show Kicks off

The nation's largest electronics show has opened in Seoul for a five-day run.
A total of four hundred-50 companies from 15 countries are showcasing their latest products and services at the Korea Electronics Show 2004 underway at the Convention and Exhibition Center in southern Seoul.
The 35th electronics exposition, held under the theme "Digital Convergence
Experience", is one of the four biggest electronics trade shows held each year in the Asia-Pacific region.
About two hundred-50 thousand digital electronics products are on display at the exhibition.
Visitors can personally try out cutting-edge digital electronic products such as high definition 60-inch plasma display panel TVs.
The Electronic Industries Association of Korea, a co-host of the event, says it expects some one hundred thousand visitors to the show.
A series of international IT seminars will also be held on the sidelines of the event.
