Senior judges and legal experts from former Socialist countries are learning South Korea's legal system.

The Justice Ministry said it is offering judicial training and research courses for 34 judges and legal experts from 13 countries that have transferred to a market-oriented economy since the fall of the former Soviet Union.

A Justice official said the ministry is planning to establish a private foundation to provide help to the countries that are positively considering introducing South Korea's legal system.

The ministry says that if the nations adopt South Korea's judicial system, it would considerably benefit South Korean business firms wanting to invest in those countries.
