A group of 20 would-be North Korean asylum-seekers are at the South Korean Embassy compound in Beijing.

Reports say the group, comprised of six men and 14 women, climbed over the wall near the embassy's consular section early Friday morning, but were unable to enter the consular office as the doors were still shut.

The South Korean Embassy has yet to make an official statement on the matter.
