China's Xinhua News Agency says North Korea is willing to resolve the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula through the six-party talks.
Xinhua quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Zhang Qiyue, as saying leaders of China and North Korea have both pledged more efforts for an early resumption of the six-party talks.
She said North Korea's top legislator Kim Yong-nam has expressed clearly during his visit in Beijing that North Korea's position on solving the nuclear dispute through talks remains unchanged.
The reports said North Korea is blaming the perceived hostile policy of the United States and South Korea's past nuclear experiments for the deadlock in the multilateral nuclear negotiations.
Xinhua also said North Korea put forth three conditions for resuming dialogue : the abandonment of Washington's hostile policy, compensation for freezing Pyongyang's nuclear facilities, and discussions of South Korea's past nuclear activities.
