Former President Kim Dae-jung will begin a seven-day trip to Sweden and Italy from November 6th.

According to Kim's secretary, the ex-head of state will meet with Swedish Prime Minister Goran Persson and seeks ways to peacefully resolve North Korea's nuclear standoff, as well as give a speech on peace on the Korean Peninsula at the Olof Palme International Center.

Kim is also scheduled to attend a world summit of Nobel Peace Prize laureates in Rome, where he will deliver a keynote speech on solidarity and cooperation for world peace.
