World Korean Business Convention Kicks off

The 3rd-ever World Korean Business Convention kicked off Tuesday on the southern resort island of Jeju.

The 3-day event gathering Korean bussinesspeople from around the world boasts the convention's biggest size ever, with 108 companies and some 1,300 participants from 43 countries in attendance.

Hosted by an economic organization of overseas ethnic Koreans, the event features a full line-up of business forums and discussion sessions aimed at allowing Korean businesses from home and abroad to establish individual and corporate networks.

The convention was formed with the intent of spurring on the formation of a global network of Korean entrepreneurs.
