Ex-Pres. Kim to Embark on Overseas Tour

Former President Kim Dae-jung will be departing for a tour of several countries over the next two months.

Kim will be meeting heads-of-states in Sweden and Italy next week and while in Italy, the former president will be joining in a gathering of Nobel Peace Prize winners, during which he will deliver a keynote speech.

After his European trip, Kim will visit the United States at the invitation of former U.S. President Bill Clinton to take part in a ceremony to open a library founded by Clinton in Little Rock, Arkansas.

And in December, Kim will travel to Kuala Lumpur where he will be delivering a speech at the second East Asian forum to be held in the Malaysian capital.
