The Korea National Tourism Organization is organizing a series of investor relations seminars in the United States to attract foreign capital in developing the local tourism sector.
A delegation of officials will visit Los Angeles on November 16th and in New York on the 18th for the tourism road show, the first such event organized by the government.
The delegation consists of 26 officials from the nation's eleven provinces, related agencies and companies, including Hyundai Asan and the Incheon free trade zone authorities.
The delegates plan to promote attractive investment conditions in Korea and hold consultations with potential foreign investors.
Following the road shows in the U.S., the tourism agency will also play host to the Korea Tourism Investment Forum in southern Jeju island on the 23rd of this month.
