Ambassador Says Next 6-Way Talks up to N. Korea

South Korean Ambassador to Washington Han Seung-joo says the stalled six-party talks will swiftly reconvene once North Korea responds positively to ongoing calls by the remaining five countries to return to the negotiating table. Han said in a radio interview Wednesday that the five countries are aggressively pushing to reopen the talks at the earliest date possible. The ambassador said the United States has also been actively seeking ways to resume the stalled dialogue following the reelection of U.S. President George W. Bush.
