Roh-Bush Summit Likely to Focus on Nuke Talks

President Roh Moo-hyun is expected to meet U.S. President George W. Bush for one-on-one talks on November 20th in Chile on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.

Officials in Seoul say their discussions will be focused on North Korea's nuclear standoff and the South Korea-U.S. alliance.

The two leaders are expected to agree on exerting joint efforts for the prompt resumption of the stalled six-nation nuclear discussions.

The Roh-Bush summit, their first after Bush's re-election, is drawing much attention as it is projected to sketch out any changes the second Bush Administration may enact in its policies toward Pyongyang.
