Written: 2004-11-19 00:00:00Updated: 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Meanwhile, Seoul will send a ten-member delegation to the IAEA’s board meeting to lobby for a swift closure to the nuclear controversy.

Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Young-jin will lead the delegation, which also includes South Korean Ambassador to Vienna Cho Chang-bum and nuclear experts and officials from relevant ministries.

The case of South Korea's past nuclear experiments currently faces three possible denouements — a final resolution at the upcoming IAEA Board of Directors meeting further investigations and resolution at the next IAEA meeting or referral to the U.N. Security Council.

A government official was quoted as saying the outcome of the November 25th meeting remains difficult to predict at the present.
