The commander of U.S. Forces Korea, General Leon LaPorte, has claimed North Korea is capable of selling weapons-grade plutonium to other countries.

Gen. La Porte made the comments while delivering a special lecture to an audience of future South Korean Air Force cadets in Seoul on Friday.

Asked whether South Korea and the United States are facing problems in intelligence sharing, LaPorte said the militaries of both nations were exchanging daily intelligence by the hour in an open and transparent manner.
