A recent survey shows that 75 percent of Americans believe North Korea does not pose an immediate threat to the U.S., in stark contrast to some claims arguing for hard-line policies toward the North to resolve its nuclear standoff.
According to a joint CNN-USA Today poll, only 20 percent of the respondents said the North poses an immediate threat to their country, while 60 percent said the stalinist State represents a long-term, but not immediate, threat.
In particular, 15 percent of those polled said North Korea poses no threat at all to the U.S.
