Inter-Korean negotiations installation of electricity and communication lines for the Gaesong Industrial Complex in North Korea has resumed Tuesday.

South Korea's largest telecommunications carrier KT and its state-run Korea Land Corporation will hold two days of working-level talks in Gaesong with North Korean counterparts.

Shortly after, the state-run Korea Electric Power Corporation will also hold similar talks to sign an agreement on power supply for the industrial park.

A Seoul official said the two negotiations aim to clinch agreements this time around, saying that Pyongyang is also aware of the urgent need for the basic utilities, although the North is seeking to lay claim on rights to operating the communications network on its soil.
