Two Koreas' Footballers May Face Off on Korean Holiday

The two Koreas may face off in a football match around the time of next year's lunar New Year's holiday.

According to the final preliminaries schedule for the 2006 FIFA Worldcup Games in Germany, South Korea will face off with either Kuwait or North Korea on February 9, during the lunar New Year's holiday.

If it happens, the inter-Korean match would be the first to take place in twelve years since the last match held in Qatar in the runup to 1994 World Cup held in the U.S.

A draw to decide the final round of qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup will be held in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur next Thursday.
