Unification Minister Chung Dong-young said Wednesday the Seoul government is looking to implement plans to further promote inter-Korean cooperation projects.

Chung made the comments in a speech at a ceremony commemorating the first roll-out of manufactured goods at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex, jointly built by the two Koreas, just north of the inter-Korean border.

Chung, however, expressed regret over the current suspension in government dialogue between the two Koreas.

The minister visited the complex at the invitation of Pyongyang, as part of a South Korean delegation comprised of lawmakers, officials and business leaders, to attend the ceremony.
