South Korea's National Red Cross has delivered the last of a 100,000 ton shipment of fertilizer aid to North Korea, sending off a final batch of 15,000 tons on Tuesday.

The Tuesday delivery wraps up South Korea's pledge of fertilizer aid to Pyongyang for the second half of this year, which was shipped northward from mid-November over 14 occasions.

As of Wednesday, Seoul had thus delivered 300,000 tons of fertilizer to its northern brethren in this year alone upon the request of Pyongyang.
